Rebecca Dash appears to have the perfect man. Caring, kind, compassionate, Richard is everything she ever desired. But when things start to fall apart six weeks before the wedding -- from him canceling the wedding that had been their shared dream for years, to faking a heart attack and threatening suicide -- he shatters their relationship and begins a series of disturbing incidents that force Rebecca to examine who Richard really is. Rebecca begins to piece together the patchwork quilt of Richard’s sociopathic persona, revealing him to be a serial killer of the soul; a man who crafts false love of legendary proportions. A man whose every relationship with a woman is defined by his vicious attempts to destroy his lovers’ lives. A man who appears to be the perfect lover, while leading his victims to their psychological and emotional destruction. A modern day Ripper, a psychological torturer, a serial misogynist.

Excellent, brilliant read. This is a superb thriller about an issue that is not talked about much in our society. But the feelings of betrayal and losing "the dream" are very real. Well worth the read!Product details

Serial Misogyny One Sister Story Lex Ramsay Books Reviews
Terrible, poor writer. Sick of reading about what characters are wearing or driving. Drivel. Trash at best. Can't believe this
Absolutely loved the writing! Though the book was quite dark (and understandably so for those who read it!), the descriptive language and pure, unfiltered emotions are relatable and greatly entertaining to read! I look forward to seeing what else this author has to say in future work!
Note this is not a book for the squeamish or for those who do not like graphic language while reading. Be ready to buckle in for quite a ride!
Gripping relationship horror story! This book gives a great look into the possible results of lies, deceit and narcissism.
I love a good revenge story, and this is it - but I only wish the entirely justified heroine had gotten away with it.
Unsure what this was supposed to be. That's not really true, I do know but I gave up at 10% in. It went from a horrible, grisly murder, which doesn't bother me because I'm not swimish, but then it launched in a family history. I felt as if the author was beating me over the head with the background of her heritage, going into unnecessary details about how educated she and her black family is. The book could be promising. I lost interest.
In the prologue we discover exactly why our heroine is sitting in a prison cell. The writing quality is on par with any best selling author.
The heroine describes the book as "just another in a thousand written by semi-literate convicts". If that semi-literate tone is what the author intended, then it was accomplished masterfully. Too bad it doesn't make for a very readable book. Weren't there any incarcerated editors in her prison?
Just like real life, the story unfolds in real time, our heroine never hinting at what a horrible manipulator she is involved with. The extent of his wickedness isn't made clear until the later part of the book. But it takes So Long To Get There. A long, long time.
As I was reading I wondered if this is what it's like to read detailed descriptions of grass growing. Each individual blade. In real time.
This is the perfect book if you like exquisite narcissistic details about shopping, fashions, and relationships. The whole thing is infused with a healthy dose of "I've worked so hard for you, only to have you spit in my face" attitude.
I suggest reading the prologue and the first chapter or two. Then rapidly skim to Part 2 - Chapter 26. Then skim a little more slowly to Part 3 - Chapter 27. You'll need the background to make sense of the ending. It isn't until the ending that we find out the extent of our villain's misogyny.
The epilogue isn't really necessary, by the time we get to there we know that the villain is a real creep.
I was left wanting to know more about how the heroine moved from realizing the truth about Richard, to planning and carrying out her crime.
Excellent, brilliant read. This is a superb thriller about an issue that is not talked about much in our society. But the feelings of betrayal and losing "the dream" are very real. Well worth the read!
